  • Type: convertible
  • Games: foosball, table tennis, hockey, billiard
  • Dimensions: 54 x 26 x 35 inches
  • Weight: 51 pounds

As the Editor’s Favorite, it’s no surprise that this one blew our socks off. At first glance, you can see how visually appealing it is with its cherry wood-like body and blue cover. As the name suggests, you get four games in this one table, which is great if you don’t have a ton of space for all separate four.

What also set this table apart was how durable it was. Unfortunately, there are quite a few products in this category which were made cheaply, and you can tell. This table can take a beating, and they’ve included a support brace on the legs to make sure they aren’t easily compromised. The legs are not removable, however, which may make it a bit difficult if you’re looking for something you can store away after use.

So, which games are included?

You’ll receive the four most popular: pool, ping pong, air hockey, and foosball. We obviously tried out each game quite extensively, so let’s take a look at each.

With the pool table application, we were worried the balls would be made of plastic or not high quality. Luckily, this wasn’t the case at all. The included balls were made of the same material as the regular ones. The sticks are straight, but notably more lightweight than your standard ones. The felt was nice and quality, but the pockets are a bit difficult if you’re an adult and don’t have smaller hands.

The ping pong was fun, but we noticed the paddles were made out of a cheaper material; perhaps foam and/or plastic? The air hockey game was okay, but didn’t slide as rapidly as it would with a proper arcade table. The foosball game does take a bit of time to assemble, but after that, the game is just as good as any other.

  • Very sturdy construction
  • High-quality materials used
  • Four fun games included
  • Relatively affordable
  • Legs do not fold/are not removable so storage may be complicated
  • Air hockey was a bit slower than what we’d consider to be average

  • Type: combination
  • Games: poker, bumper pool
  • Dimensions: 54 x 54 x 31 inches
  • Weight: 230 pounds

The Fairview Game Rooms 54” Combination 3-in-1 Game/Dining Table is quite a diverse product. You can see right away how beautiful it is (and heavy). It comes in either Mahogany, Chestnut, or Oak, so you can pick the version that works best with your home or your tastes. As you may know, these woods are also very high-quality and made to last for years and years. The center section is made of a Laminated Veneer Lumber, which is to prevent any kind of warping of the table.

Another huge feature of this table is as the name suggests, it can also be used as a dining table. The reversible top has one smooth side which you can dine on, and the other is made specifically for card games and others. This side has eight sets of cup and chip holders so you don’t lose either.

Under the top, you’ll find a bumper pool playfield, made of a composition playfield. Unfortunately, a downside to this is that they don’t guarantee it to be completely flat. The good side, is that we haven’t experienced nor heard reviews from others that had anything but level playing surfaces.

The only real drawback we encountered was the size and weight of the table. We’d recommend getting this only if you have extra room to spare, or are able to make it a permanent fixture in your home. As it weighs 230 pounds and is 54 inches, you’ll want to have some space as moving it isn’t really much of an option.

  • Can be used as a dining table or game surface
  • Includes 8 cup and chip holders
  • Very high-quality wood construction
  • Includes poker and bumper pool
  • Very heavy and big
  • Relatively pricey

Fat Cat Pockey 7ft Black 3-in-1 TableBest 3-in-1 Game Table

  • Type: rotational
  • Games: billiard, air hockey, table tennis
  • Dimensions: 80 x 44 x 32 inches
  • Weight: 268 pounds

If you liked the Fairview but just couldn’t handle the fact that it was less-than-ideal for those who need to stow their game tables away when not in use, check out the Fat Cat Pockey. It’s a convenient, sturdy table with billiards, air hockey, and table tennis. Coming in either a sleek tan or classic green, it’ll add a bit of style to any room.

When you first get the table, there will be some assembly required. This one probably took the longest to assemble out of the bunch: around 2 hours. It’s not necessarily a difficult process; just time-consuming. Anyway, after this you’ll have it easy with the tri-fold-top technology which changes games just by unlocking the latches and flip it over.

The table isn’t full-sized, so it may seem a bit small for adults. The pool wasn’t slate, but it did overall feel very even which made for fair and accurate gameplay. With air hockey, the puck slid around well, but it seemed to head towards the sides quite often. If you’re used to the regular-sized table tennis models, this one may very well seem small to you. The included paddles and balls were a bit sub-par, so purchasing more high-quality options may be a good idea unless you’re okay with that. You’ll also get four pushers and pucks, two cue sticks, two chalk pieces, a billiard brush, and a net with a post set.

Overall, the best 3-in-1 game table latching mechanism works very well and is covered with a 1-year warranty to make sure you’re fully satisfied with your selection.

  • 3-in-1 design works seamlessly
  • Looks sophisticated
  • Easy to stow away
  • High-quality materials
  • Not full-size
  • Assembly is a bit extensive

As far as appearance goes, it does look high-quality. While it’s not cheaply made, it’s not as durable as the others on our list, so don’t expect to go all-out every game.

Funmall 4FT Multi-Function 4-in-1 TableBest Folding Multi-Game Table

  • Type: convertible, folding
  • Games: foosball, table tennis, hockey, billiard
  • Dimensions: 48 x 24 x 32 inches
  • Weight: 51 pounds

Easily one of the best 4-in-1 game tables out there, the Funmall 4FT Multi-Function table includes a soccer table, tennis table, hockey, and pool table. While we highly recommend it for children, it’s also a great size for adults. The height is around that of a dining room table, so you won’t be hunched over awkwardly/uncomfortably.

The construction of the table is very durable and high-quality, which was part of the reason why we placed it on our list. The MDF/PB material is made to be used for many years to come, while looking smooth and sleek. In addition, it’s great if you don’t have a ton of extra space to just keep the table out all the time. The legs easily fold up and away so you can simply tuck it away in a closet, garage, or possibly under a bed.

Setting up is easy and takes just minutes to put together without needing to make any additional adjustments. The game surface is also always very level for accurate gameplay.

We did feel like the foosball setup was a bit cheap-feeling, but if you’re just looking for some very casual use or for children, it will do just fine. The sliders glide across the table with ease, and pool and table tennis were almost perfect.

  • Assembly is pretty easy
  • Easy to stow away when not in use
  • Works fine for children or adults
  • Foosball feels a bit cheap
  • May be a bit small for some

Buying Guide

Now that you’ve had the chance to read through each of the best combination game tables on the market today, you may have already decided which one you’d like. If you are still on-the-fence, however, keep on scrolling because we’ve created a user-friendly buying guide to ensure you’re completely happy with your choice.

A multi-game table: What you should expect

CBF048_097M001A good multi-game table is, first off, going to be easy to use. If the games are difficult to switch between, you’re not going to be as likely to use it. It should be sturdy and hold up to intense gameplay. Ideally, you’ll want a model that looks nice in any room, too. We’ve gone ahead and detailed all of the features to look into before selecting.

Multi-game table types

Multi-game tables, as you could see from above, vary a bit. You’ll get either a convertible, rotational, or flip-top type.

Convertible tables, like the Generic 4-in-1 Combo Table, have a solid, stationary base and surface. You can always add on more pieces to the surface to change the game surface and type, like adding on a net and poles to switch to table tennis.

Flip tops each have a double-sided top, where each side features a different game. These can be combos of billiards and air hockey, billiards and table tennis, and others. To keep the game in play, they’ll be locked in to keep in secure and level.

Rotational table models, like the Fat Cat Pockey, feature the same rotating mechanism you’ll get in the previous type, but will have more than two games. These will still have a stationary base, but have an axel to rotate to a different game.

What games are included?

91+tKKbdnhLWhich games do you have to have in your new multi table? You’re probably not going to want every single game included, but you’ll want to place importance on a couple that you feel you can’t do without in a new model.

After making sure the model has the games that you really want, take a look at how many other games are included. There are some products that will have a dozen or more games to choose from, like the table from MD Sports, which obviously gets you more use out of it.

How much space do you need for a multi-game table?

This will greatly vary by the model that you select. Some are obviously going to be much smaller than others, which will require less space. Single option game tables are great, but obviously take up more space if you want more games. That’s kind of the appeal of the multi-game table option.

Before you make a choice, we highly recommend measuring the area that you’re planning on putting your new table in. Otherwise, you may end up with too little space, not enough space for people to comfortably play around it, etc. Game tables are really great for tying rooms together, too, so long as they look good and can be used with convenience.

Also think about how easy it will be to move around to accommodate other pieces of furniture, and how well you can store them.

Multi-game table setting up

Another important part of selecting a combo table is how simple assembly is. Some hardly require any assembly, which means you can get started and having fun almost immediately. Others require literally hours of assembly, which may be too much of a hassle or too difficult for others.

Flip top and rotational tables are extremely similar, but still have a notable difference between the two. They both rotate on an axis, but rotational tables have more than two game options, while flip tops only have two.

No, not typically. You may have some air feature included, but it’s nowhere near the kind of air power that you’ll get from electricity-connected boards that you’ll find in an arcade.

Many will actually include pockets in the table itself, while others will include a bag to hold all extra accessories so they’re not lost.

It might if you’re planning on storing it or moving it around. Many of our options are very heavy, and cannot easily or realistically be moved.

Oftentimes they’re made of wood, or a wood-like material for durability and looks. Other times, you’ll find that they’re made of ABS plastic or aluminum.

Wrapping It Up

While we truly enjoyed each one of these best multi-game tables, there were a few in particular which really stood out to us: the Generic 54″ Entertainment Gaming Table, the Fairview Game/Dining Table, and the Fat Cat Pockey.

The Generic model is durable with a wooden body and looks great with it’s light blue game surface. It includes four high-quality games for countless hours of fun. The Fairview Game/Dining Table is truly one-of-a-kind, as you can eat, then transform it into a poker table or pool table. Finally, the Fat Cat looks sophisticated, is made to last, and easily moves between the three included games.

So, which one of these best multi-game tables will be making its way into your home?
