It’s so common now to go searching for fun with electronic devices or an array of different screens. However, if you really want to stimulate your mind the way it should be, then games and sports are the best solution. The most effective way to combine this all into one, is with one of the best multi-game tables. They all have a variety of fun games that’s perfect for a rainy day, or if it’s too hot or late to go outside.
It’s important to know that there are a wide variety of multi-game tables out there. We considered some crucial features and determined the top products based on these. Typically, you’ll see tables that are convertible, rotational, or flip-top styles. We tried and included every type in our research, and will cover them a bit later. In addition, we looked at the games available, the dimensions, how convenient and durable they were, and how visually-appealing each model was.
We’ve spent the last couple of weeks to try out a ton of different multi-game tables. We deliberated amongst ourselves, and also used customer reviews and expert reviews to come up with our list of the top products. Below, you’ll find a layout which begins with a table where you can easily compare-and-contrast each product against one another. After that, you’ll find in-depth reviews of each product. Finally, we end with a buying guide which will make sure you’re buying the best multi-purpose game table for you and your preferences!
As the Editor’s Favorite, it’s no surprise that this one blew our socks off. At first glance, you can see how visually appealing it is with its cherry wood-like body and blue cover. As the name suggests, you get four games in this one table, which is great if you don’t have a ton of space for all separate four.
What also set this table apart was how durable it was. Unfortunately, there are quite a few products in this category which were made cheaply, and you can tell. This table can take a beating, and they’ve included a support brace on the legs to make sure they aren’t easily compromised. The legs are not removable, however, which may make it a bit difficult if you’re looking for something you can store away after use.
So, which games are included?
You’ll receive the four most popular: pool, ping pong, air hockey, and foosball. We obviously tried out each game quite extensively, so let’s take a look at each.
With the pool table application, we were worried the balls would be made of plastic or not high quality. Luckily, this wasn’t the case at all. The included balls were made of the same material as the regular ones. The sticks are straight, but notably more lightweight than your standard ones. The felt was nice and quality, but the pockets are a bit difficult if you’re an adult and don’t have smaller hands.
The ping pong was fun, but we noticed the paddles were made out of a cheaper material; perhaps foam and/or plastic? The air hockey game was okay, but didn’t slide as rapidly as it would with a proper arcade table. The foosball game does take a bit of time to assemble, but after that, the game is just as good as any other.
What are its best features?
Very sturdy construction
High-quality materials used
Four fun games included
What could be improved?
Legs do not fold/are not removable so storage may be complicated
Air hockey was a bit slower than what we’d consider to be average
So many gamers struggle with the desire of hoarding different types of games in their very tiny space. The Triumph 13-in-1 Combo Game Table is a true solution to that. You get 13 different games in one table.
With the wide variety of games, you can never miss something to play with your family and friends. Boring would never be a part of your vocabulary because there is so much to choose from. Imagine showcasing your archery prowess one minute and then challenging your mind the next minute with checkers or chess.
The table is just the perfect size and can easily fit in your cramped up man cave or basement. It is also not on the heavy side, coming in at 43 pounds; you can carry it from one place to another easily.
You will get all the accessories you need to play with each game. Could it get any better? That’s true value for money.
It also features a built-in storage system in which you can stow away your game boards whenever they are not in use. Plus, you get a storage bag for keeping all the small game parts and accessories to avoid losing even a single important piece.
With table tennis, basketball, push hockey, billiards, launch football, launch baseball, soft tip darts, chess, checkers, skee bean bag toss, tic-tac-toe bean bag toss archery and backgammon all in one table, the fun never stops.
What stands out?
This versatile table is a must-have for any game lover. Its convenient size and features makes it a prime pick for anyone with no space. With 13 different games, it’s hard to imagine that the Triumph 13-in-1 Combo Game Table can grow old. Assembling the table is also pretty straightforward.
What cons did we manage to find?
Some users have complained that the table doesn’t offer ample space for certain games like ping pong. Some also reiterated that the quality of the table is sub-par; some parts arrived broken and some parts like the darts were completely useless because they don’t stick to the target.
Fat Cat Pockey is a convenient, sturdy table with billiards, air hockey, and table tennis. Coming in either a sleek tan or classic green, it’ll add a bit of style to any room.
When you first get the table, there will be some assembly required. This one probably took the longest to assemble out of the bunch: around 2 hours. It’s not necessarily a difficult process; just time-consuming. Anyway, after this you’ll have it easy with the tri-fold-top technology which changes games just by unlocking the latches and flip it over.
The table isn’t full-sized, so it may seem a bit small for adults. The pool wasn’t slate, but it did overall feel very even which made for fair and accurate gameplay. With air hockey, the puck slid around well, but it seemed to head towards the sides quite often. If you’re used to the regular-sized table tennis models, this one may very well seem small to you. The included paddles and balls were a bit sub-par, so purchasing more high-quality options may be a good idea unless you’re okay with that. You’ll also get four pushers and pucks, two cue sticks, two chalk pieces, a billiard brush, and a net with a post set.
Overall, the best 3-in-1 game table latching mechanism works very well and is covered with a 1-year warranty to make sure you’re fully satisfied with your selection.
If three games aren’t enough for you, then let’s take it up a notch or 9, to the MD Sports 12-in-1 Multi-Game Table. This model is the perfect addition to any basement, child’s playroom, or a dedicated game room for adults. You’ll get: air powered hockey, knock hockey, traditional foosball, basketball, table tennis, bean bag toss, archery, chess, checkers, backgammon, and dice. All of this, and you have it in one convenient, compact model.
In addition, you’ll get all accessories for you to properly play any of the included dozen games. Assembly is surprisingly simple, despite how many games are included. The only really time-consuming part is setting up the foosball players, and that’s not even difficult. The legs are also easy to set up and attach and include 3.5-inch leg levelers to ensure even gameplay, no matter the surface.
As far as appearance goes, it does look high-quality. While it’s not cheaply made, it’s not as durable as the others on our list, so don’t expect to go all-out every game.
The highlights here include the real air flow foosball gameplay, quality ½-inch steel rods with rubber handles for solid foosball grip, and a UL-certified motor for air flow on the whole table surface.
The Best Choice Products 4-in-1 Multi Arcade Competition Game Table is perfect for family game nights! Including foosball, table tennis, air hockey, and pool, there’s something for everyone to make sure no one gets bored.
At first glance, you can see how visually attractive this game table is. Featuring wooden construction, it’s made to be durable and perfect for children and adults. When you’re done playing, the games easily stack on top of one-another neatly. In addition, the weight is extremely light, so you can move it seamlessly around the home to where you need to place it.
Assembly is one of the easiest we’ve experienced, and shouldn’t take more than an hour to set up. The high-quality, non-toxic MDF composition will hold up against bumps and scratches, and the four legs are all very stable and reliable.
While there are plenty of amazing game tables out there, many of them cost quite a few hundred dollars. If that’s outside of what you’re looking to spend, then you’re going to love the Best Choice Products combo game table. It’s very budget-friendly; in fact, probably the most affordable when taking its high level of quality into consideration.
What makes it special?
Very attractive, wooden-like design looks good in any home
Very durable and sturdy composition
Four high-quality games included
Easy to store and move around
What cons did we find?
Not the biggest table out there; may be just too small for table tennis
Some users reported difficulties with keeping a table together at times
Easily one of the best 4-in-1 game tables out there, the Funmall 4FT Multi-Function table includes a soccer table, tennis table, hockey, and pool table. While we highly recommend it for children, it’s also a great size for adults. The height is around that of a dining room table, so you won’t be hunched over awkwardly/uncomfortably.
The construction of the table is very durable and high-quality, which was part of the reason why we placed it on our list. The MDF/PB material is made to be used for many years to come, while looking smooth and sleek. In addition, it’s great if you don’t have a ton of extra space to just keep the table out all the time. The legs easily fold up and away so you can simply tuck it away in a closet, garage, or possibly under a bed.
Setting up is easy and takes just minutes to put together without needing to make any additional adjustments. The game surface is also always very level for accurate gameplay.
We did feel like the foosball setup was a bit cheap-feeling, but if you’re just looking for some very casual use or for children, it will do just fine. The sliders glide across the table with ease, and pool and table tennis were almost perfect.
What makes it special?
Assembly is pretty easy
Easy to stow away when not in use
Works fine for children or adults
What cons did we find?
Foosball feels a bit cheap
May be a bit small for some
Things to Consider
Now that you’ve had the chance to read through each of the best combination game tables on the market today, you may have already decided which one you’d like. If you are still on-the-fence, however, keep on scrolling because we’ve created a user-friendly buying guide to ensure you’re completely happy with your choice.
A multi-game table: What you should expect
A good multi-game table is, first off, going to be easy to use. If the games are difficult to switch between, you’re not going to be as likely to use it. It should be sturdy and hold up to intense gameplay. Ideally, you’ll want a model that looks nice in any room, too. We’ve gone ahead and detailed all of the features to look into before selecting.
Multi-game table types
Multi-game tables, as you could see from above, vary a bit. You’ll get either a convertible, rotational, or flip-top type.
Convertible tables, like the Generic 4-in-1 Combo Table, have a solid, stationary base and surface. You can always add on more pieces to the surface to change the game surface and type, like adding on a net and poles to switch to table tennis.
Flip tops each have a double-sided top, where each side features a different game. These can be combos of billiards and air hockey, billiards and table tennis, and others. To keep the game in play, they’ll be locked in to keep in secure and level.
Rotational table models, like the Fat Cat Pockey, feature the same rotating mechanism you’ll get in the previous type, but will have more than two games. These will still have a stationary base, but have an axel to rotate to a different game.
What games are included?
Which games do you have to have in your new multi table? You’re probably not going to want every single game included, but you’ll want to place importance on a couple that you feel you can’t do without in a new model.
After making sure the model has the games that you really want, take a look at how many other games are included. There are some products that will have a dozen or more games to choose from, like the table from MD Sports, which obviously gets you more use out of it.
How much space do you need for a multi-game table?
This will greatly vary by the model that you select. Some are obviously going to be much smaller than others, which will require less space. Single option game tables are great, but obviously take up more space if you want more games. That’s kind of the appeal of the multi-game table option.
Before you make a choice, we highly recommend measuring the area that you’re planning on putting your new table in. Otherwise, you may end up with too little space, not enough space for people to comfortably play around it, etc. Game tables are really great for tying rooms together, too, so long as they look good and can be used with convenience.
Also think about how easy it will be to move around to accommodate other pieces of furniture, and how well you can store them.
Multi-game table setting up
Another important part of selecting a combo table is how simple assembly is. Some hardly require any assembly, which means you can get started and having fun almost immediately. Others require literally hours of assembly, which may be too much of a hassle or too difficult for others.
Flip top and rotational tables are extremely similar, but still have a notable difference between the two. They both rotate on an axis, but rotational tables have more than two game options, while flip tops only have two.
Oftentimes they’re made of wood, or a wood-like material for durability and looks. Other times, you’ll find that they’re made of ABS plastic or aluminum.
Wrapping It Up
While we truly enjoyed each one of these best multi-game tables, there were a few in particular which really stood out to us: the Generic 54″ Entertainment Gaming Table, the Triumph 13-in-1 Combo Game Table, and the Fat Cat Pockey.
The Generic model is durable with a wooden body and looks great with it’s light blue game surface. It includes four high-quality games for countless hours of fun. The Triumph is truly unique, as you get 13 different games in one table. Finally, the Fat Cat looks sophisticated, is made to last, and easily moves between the three included games.
So, which one of these best multi-game tables will be making its way into your home?
